Ayla Morris

Ayla is a first year science student at the University of Alberta. She played the violin from ages 4-10, then started to learn and play the trombone at 12 years old. She has been playing the trombone for 6 years since. Ayla has played in multiple school ensembles in both Junior High and High School, such as symphonic and jazz bands. Two out of the three years of attending the Red Deer Provincial Festival of Bands in High School, the ensembles she performed in achieved a superior rating. When Ayla started university, and learned about the HCMP, the performance had interested her, as she is able to perform for others, while also raising awareness for this program.
