Angelina Lee

Angelina is a pianist studying under Dr. Zhenni Li-Cohen at the University of Alberta, where she is completing a Bachelor of Music after previously earning a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a diploma in Police & Investigations at a different institution.

Since 2022, she has performed on piano, celesta, and percussion with the UofA’s University Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. In 2024, Angelina’s dedication to piano earned her a gold medal in the 2024 North American Virtuoso International Music Competition and the CCC Toronto Music Festival.

Angelina’s unique musical journey of returning to the piano as a university student after years away from lessons fuels her to inspire others to discover and pursue their passions at any stage of life. As a volunteer performer with the Heart of the City Music Program (HCMP) since 2023, she hopes to share her belief with the community that life becomes meaningful when you follow what excites your heart—as piano does for her.
