Melissa Woo
Melissa is a pharmacist who graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta in 2015. Besides providing patient-centered care and managing her patients' health, she loves to share her passion for music with others.
Since 2011, Melissa and her friends volunteer at Capital Care Lynnwood in Edmonton. They sing and play music for the residents, such as performing some of the classics and the newer, more modern music on the radio. After each performance, they are already planning what songs to perform for next time. In March 2016, Melissa and her siblings participated in Golden Key's Vitalus Edmonton, which was an annual charity benefit performance and silent auction. This event helped fundraise for the Zebra Child Protection Center (child abuse). She sang and played piano, while her siblings played the guitar and ukulele. In addition, some of her other hobbies are dancing, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
