Fan Wang

Fan is a 4th year Arts student at University of Alberta. She started her piano journey at the age of 4 and passed her Grade 10 Central Conservatory of Music Exam with A+ when she was 13.
Fan has received many awards in competitions and performs frequently nationally and internationally. She loves exploring different pieces from different genres. Her favorite composers are Beethoven, Chopin and Joe Hisaishi. Recently, Fan is striving to promote Chinese traditional piano music to western audiences. She believes that music transcends all boundaries.
